Tow Vehicle
I have a 2500 HD Gas. I thinking abouting getting a diesel. With my truck now I am getting about 10 mpg pulling and about 13 miles in the city limits. I pay approximately $100.00 to fuel the truck....

Those are pretty good numbers for a gas 2500, not likely see a huge improvement in mileage, you either tow light or slow with that towing number.
If the trailer is larger the diesel might make sense, but other wise I agree with OpenRangePullen_Ford .
