I have a 2500 HD Gas. I thinking abouting getting a diesel. With my truck now I am getting about 10 mpg pulling and about 13 miles in the city limits. I pay approximately $100.00 to fuel the truck....

It is unlikely that switching to a diesel truck will provide a financial benefit. That doesn't mean that a diesel engine doesn't have qualities that many prefer over a gas truck. If you want a diesel and can afford it then get one. But don't fool yourself into thinking it is a better financial decision.
