As one other stated, PLEASE do yourself a favor and look at the TT's GVW, NOT it's "dry weight". No one tows a TT "dry", (meaning nothing in it)....Use GVW and go from there.
I'm not familiar with Ford's specs, and a Ford guy could probably tell you if there would be any issues, (doesn't sound like it to me), but not knowing the TT's GVW, is a number I would really want to know.
