I found the TFL videos last night after posting and was surprised to learn that there is actually a 2" hitch made for the Bolt. There was another YouTube channel, Transport Evolved, who discusses the topic of towing with EV, including the Bolt, as well...in case anyone is interested. I may decide on a different trailer as I found a number of other good options, many of which are lighter.
