As for spending money to build a 6.0 Excursion I would pass. You will still have a 6.0 diesel when you're done which doesn't do much for resale.
By the way, as far as I know there were never any GM vans with the Duramax and AWD.
The post refers to a 6.7 Excursion not a 6.0, big difference
