If you could find a pre-'07 2500 Burb with 8.1/4.10 in decent shape, you could do a lot of modifications and still not come even close to the price of a DuraBurb. Just a matter of sacrificing a few of the latest creature comforts and technical upgrades, I would guess. I have always been more fan of SUV's, so that's the way I would go.
