The OP indicates 5700 dry, 7700 wet. Was it scaled or is that the max the TT is rated at? A couple of considerations...pack as light as possible. You should be able to pack in what you need at 1000lbs +\-. Do you need to carry full fresh water tank? Perhaps fill fresh water tank at or near campground. As stated in other post...your real limitation is probably the Yukon payload. At 8300 tow rating, the Yukon is probably with a HD tow pkg, but you should confirm. If you can manage within the payload, you should be able to tow an est 6700 lb loaded TT with a 8300 lb tow rated TV. I pull a 5400 lb dry TT, est 6400 lb loaded with my Yukon Denali rated at 7900 lbs. I travel w/o fresh water in tank and only a few gallons in the black tank to keep it from any problems. My payload is under 1400 lbs. I remove the 3rd row seating. It's only me and my wife and small dogs. No problem towing in steep grades in NC mountains. My Denali is 8 years old but only 70000 miles. I really like the comfort of a SUV, but may consider a 1/2 ton pick up in the future for increased payload and non towing utility.
