We towed a 34', 7600-lb (GVWR) trailer with the Tundra in my sig for 6 years, including quite a few long trips (over 5000 miles, 4-5 weeks duration). It did well, though I always felt the trailer was just a bit big to handle, especially in pretty windy conditions. After reading on this forum about payload capacity, GVWR of the tow vehicle, etc., we did some weighing and found we were within all our truck's stats except GVWR, and were about 100-150 lbs over that. That alone did not lead to our downsizing the TT, but since doing just that (current TT is 27', 6500 lbs GVWR) I am much happier. Handles just fine. As others have mentioned, the truck has plenty of power; someone else on this forum with a Tundra once described it as "more engine than truck," and I would tend to agree.
