Towing a 28 ft. Trailer on CA 32 from Chico to Lassen

I certainly haven't looked at a map, but Grass Valley to Lassen NP seems to me you would take either I80 or 49 to 89 then take 89 around Almanor to Lassen.

However, really the choice between 32 or 36 they are both very similar roads, not sure I would have too much of presence between the 2. Except you can always stop in at the Bambi Inn should you take 32.
