I agree with campfire.... Holy cow, 1500 lbs for a family. What are you bringing, the kitchen sink? Our family of four has about 420 lbs we pack. That does not include food. but does take into account for hoses, chairs, awning mat. etc. Paper goods, only a few small pots and no water .

Where did you hear that? Is that based your own "stuff"? I've weighed mine. Everything we put in the trailer, excluding food and bicycles (because we don't always take our bikes), weighs close to 400#. That's for 2 adults. In fact when we got the bigger trailer last year, we dumped a lot stuff that wasn't getting used, so it could be less than that now. I can't imagine what people need that would be them up over 1000# of stuff. but to each his own...
