Towing a small popup with a 2017 Toyota RAV4 XLE AWD?

Two kids and my wife. But as explained before, the XLE with Trail package have 3500 pounds towing capacity. That's the point!

If it would be a Honda CRV ou whatever else, I wouldn't even ask the question, but as for the RAV4 specifically, it have this very simple package that is available and increase towing capacity at 3500 pounds like a full-size SUV.
