Given the choice I would go for the sequoia as its the tundra chaises and engine.You can get it with the 4.7 or 5.7 so depends on the load you will be okay.
I use a Tundra Crew Max. take a peek, it only has a 5.5 bed and is a people mover. that will actually work better as you can carry bikes and grill etc rather easily due to the bed.
I tow a 6300 Dry and 7000 Lbs read to go camper with mine. I just use the bed for bikes and a grill. Its usually empty . I am near payload but its a truck and I do not think going 80-90% payload is going to kill it.
Got mine used with 80k for 24k. It is a limited crewcab . now at 115k its is still has a lot of life.
