For an active officer and or detective, you sure like to engage people on a public Internet unlike any I have personally known State /County and City officers, retired and active. As if the police don't have enough black eyes as of late!
But the fact you keep forgetting, the speed was a 65 mph zone and you can bet the farm the trucker was doing all of that to tackle the upcoming grade while the RV driver was trying to pass, pulling a travel trailer, an excellerating semi.
Driver error.. Yes
Speed.... Yes
The guy pulling the trailer was hauling tail trying to get around the trucker. Period
