It doesn't sound like you're having problems with your setup. It just seems like you aren't comfortable towing yet. I felt the same way my first year. Nothing breeds confidence like experience. Try to tow often, even if it is just short trips. Regular short trips will help ingraine good driving habits. Even during the off season I manufacture excuses to hookup the rig and bring it home from storage for the day...mop floors, install a gadget, etc.
