Towing Mirrors

I like my Cipa slip on mirrors sold by CW and others. Easy on and off. However, my Winnie is 7.5 feet wide. With an eight foot TT you might not get an adequate view.

If there's a factory version for your tow vehicle I'd try to find a set you can install. I've never seen an add on mirror that works as well as a factory setup.

Factory tow mirrors are the best but also costly so I instead bought a set of CIPA mirrors for my recently acquired 2012 Silverado. I find they work quite well, no vibration whatsoever, and I can see fine around my 8' wide Coachmen. Cost was but a fraction of factory tow mirrors and electric function of the stock truck mirrors isn't impacted at all. :B

Thanks. I have a GMC Sierra that has auto folding mirrors when you lock the doors. I think these will work well and CW has them for $50, so it is worth a try.

I'll price them out, but I bet they are going to be very costly.

I bought a pair of these (about $90 from PPL?) when I towed with my Nissan Frontier....CIPA didn't make mirrors for my 2012. Traded to a Titan and the same mirrors fit whatever vehicle I have! I've had CIPA's before and they were very nice too. My old 2001 F250 has the factory mirrors and those were the best but were HUGE!

Best mirrors are the OEM style tow mirrors.

CIPA mirrors worked well on our 2012 Silverado. No vibration.
