Interesting... I came from an 08 GMC 5.3 and my Eco HD gets at least as good or better in every condition. In addition, when really lightly loaded, the eco will get numbers I never dreamed of with the 5.3, even going down hill with the wind. The F150 is 600 lbs heavier, taller, big towing mirrors and still better mileage. Not to mention the performance gain.
Another interesting note... 1 MPG better while towing is the same cost savings as 4 MPG better with an empty truck covering the same distance. So, towing MPG is something to be concerned about, even though most seem quick to dismiss 1 or 2 mpg difference.
