In some of the threads I found people said the OPP said they did not know......wonder how anything is enforced then eh?
Yeah we have 1-800 numbers to my state capital OHP head quarters but its rare anyone can answer a question. They usually give me another number to call or transfer me to another department.
In my state we have several law enforcement agencies that enforce size and weight regulations. However not all officers in these agencies have gone through the size and weights schooling process as its several months long.
Not all of our OHP (Oklahoma Highway Patrol) officers have received this training however each troop has several officers on duty 24/7 that can be called to assist the untrained trooper if needed.
I would bet you have a troop headquarters so to speak close to you that would have some one on duty that can answer that question. I sometimes leave my home phone with my area OHP troop for a call back from one of his officers when he gets a break or isn't on a call.
These are the guys and gals that do the actual enforcement.
