Towing over 10K lbs with 6 passengers...
So I'm searching for a vehicle that can tow our 10K lb trailer and still give us room to carry 6 total passengers, 4 of them under 12 which means they can't ride in the front with an airbag turned on....

The GMT800 (2000-2006) 3/4 ton Burbs were rated up to 12,000 lbs with the 8.1 and the 4.10 rear. They are pretty hard to find nowadays.
The GMT900 3/4 ton Burbs are limited to 10K because of the receiver. On our last cross-country trip, I was right at the 8600 GVWR with my ~6500-lb trailer and family of five (three teenagers).
Duraburb does a brake upgrade and their towpro x model is rated to 17,000 lbs, IIRC. CLICK HERE
