To clarify, there are 6 people total. 1 Driver and 5 passengers. 4 of the passengers are under 10.
As far as I know a crew cab truck isn't an option. Though I would love to hear if someone knows otherwise.
From what I read the passenger airbag cover BOTH front passenger and center seat and someone under 12 can't ride there. They can't be switched off in a crew cab from what I understand. Again if someone knows better I'd like to hear. I know they have seatbelts and shoulder belts but the airbags are what makes that seat deadly.
I love the 2500 suburban, we lost one in an accident years ago. But finding one with an 8.1 seems impossible. Used Diesel passenger vans are almost as uncommon.
Excursions are always out there, but finding one with low miles or in good condition is proving to be a challenge.
