Towing over 10K lbs with 6 passengers...
So I'm searching for a vehicle that can tow our 10K lb trailer and still give us room to carry 6 total passengers, 4 of them under 12 which means they can't ride in the front with an airbag turned on....

I'm also in the process of cleaning up a 2001 Ford Excursion V10 w/ 3.73 gears. Right now its my daily driver but eventually it will be parked for towing exclusively when we get back into camping. Been averaging around 11-12 mpg with a mix of commuting, my 2008 2500HD 6.0 vortec crew cab averaged 13.5 in the same drive I just don't have a loan hanging over my head now.
The Excursion is hard to beat with the V10 or 7.3, 310HP and 425TQ stock and can tow up to 12,500lbs with 4.30 gears. Change out the leaf spring packs to V code / B code springs, rear sway bar and your set!
