Towing over 10K lbs with 6 passengers...
So I'm searching for a vehicle that can tow our 10K lb trailer and still give us room to carry 6 total passengers, 4 of them under 12 which means they can't ride in the front with an airbag turned on....

With only 5 people, a my wife nixed the crew cab pickup after two towing seasons. -2005 Excursion V10 or diesel and -2006 Suburban/Yukon XL 2500 with 8.1L would do well with your TT. The receiver limit at 1000 pounds would be my only concern with 2008+ GM 3/4 ton SUV and no 2007+ SUV has higher than the GM. There are plenty of used 2010+ 1-ton passenger vans, Ford V10 and GM 6.0L.
