I did the same thing.. Got a truck whose tow rating was the same as the trailer (look at sig pic below) .. It's great for almost getting to the speed limit on flat land, and 20-30mph up hills. I did take this combination cross country (and back) a couple of years ago successfully, but was very slow and I was worrying all the time.
