To put a more practical spin on this, how about this "test" that we might apply to advice we might give. Let's just say that like me, you have a darling 25 year old daughter who has a precious child of less than a year old. Would you give advice to her that's okay to load a tow vehicle and/or trailer beyond the manufacturers limits, or would you err more towards the side of caution ?
