Unless they have changed the design, Suburban/Tahoe all wheel drive
are NOT 4x4 and employs a viscous coupling as the third member (center
diff)
Also, only half ton IIRC
Helped someone on another forum and found that it was NOT up to towing
heavy. He believed in the MTWR as an absolute...meaning it was for
all conditions...it is NOT. MTWR is only for a 'curb' vehicle...AKA Stripper
Recommend staying within the real MTWR, which will require a visit to
a weigh station with the Suburban fully loaded (cargo, people, pets,
firewood, etc, etc) and then do the simple math in reference to the
listed 'curb' or GCWR
