Towing Takena 1865 with water

We have the Takena 1865ex and I always fill the tank before driving to a campsite where there is no water at the site. We tow with a Toyota Tundra, and it rides beautifully.

Slightly off topic on 'carrying water'.
The Canadian prairie provinces and US great plains states are comfortably nestled on a giant slab of limestone.
You only need to stay at a campground or town with a well in this zone one time to start packing your own water along always.

I always tow my komfort 21T with the fresh water tank full
it is 50 gallons and placed in front right under the walk around queen bed.
we camp without hookups 70 %
my trailer tows "weigh" better going to the campsite rather than the return trip.
the full fresh tank helps that trailer go exactly straight down the road

Weight forward is normal for handling and sway control. If the trailer isn't strong enough to travel with a full tank, the manufacturer should note it.

I have a Takena 2265 and have towed with full tanks. Not sure of the 1865, but with mine the tank is just in front of the axle so it doesn't add much tongue weight (maybe 1/4 of the weight on the tongue, 3/4 on the axle).

But as mentioned, I don't tow with a full fresh (or gray) tank any more than I have to. Depends how far and what the likelyhood of getting fresh water at the destination is. If it's a campground where I can fill up on the way in (water thief hose adapter!) or even carry about half a tank and use the spigots and haul a couple 5-gallon jerry cans to top up I will do that.

I really doubt Takena would build a trailer that wouldn't allow all weights to be carried up to it's GVW.

Can any Takena 1865 owners comment on this?

That's 200 lbs. of weight. If the tongue weight can handle it, no problem.

We haul water when we Dry Camp since we do not always know if there is water where we are going. It is also nice when we convenience camp (Walmarts). The fresh water capacity of the Tekenas is about 25 gal.

My first question would be - why do you need to haul water and how much do you haul?

We haul a little sometimes if we know we will be staying overnight at a Cracker Barrel or Walmart. Even then it's only about 10 gallons. Otherwise, we get water at the campground or state/national parks.
