I think the OP is from Florida. Call Mullinax Ford in Orlando. They stock returned fleet lease vehicles from the hotels and shuttle services in Orlando. You can get a 1-to-2 year old 12-passenger Ford E350 van with a V8 with only 20,000 to 30,000 miles for about $18,000. Max tow over 7,000 lbs, max payload around 4,000 lbs. Take out the seats you don't need and add: air bed, porta-potti, fridge, etc.
These are 1-ton commercial passenger vans. They can just about carry a minivan on top and tow one behind at the same time. Seats will all have child safety seat anchors and shoulder belts. Will still have at least 2-3 years drivetrain warranty and 1 year bumper to bumper warranty from Ford. Extended 15-passenger vans are about $2,000 more.
RV Direct in Orlando has the lowest no-haggle prices on trailers. Their new units are cheaper than most used units. The most economical way to do a late-model truck and trailer is to get an Econoline Wagon from Mullinax and a trailer from RV Direct. I've been searching for over 2 years and haven't found a better deal price wise for late model, under factory warranty rigs.
You will run out of payload rating on a minivan with the number of passengers you are going to carry. Getting a 1-ton van with a V8 engine will let you easily tow most trailers up to 30ft in length.
