It is more like 18-24" Bumpy, and the plus is another row of seats or and extra 50-70 cu ft of cargo space. In the Chevy, the extra length is added to the wheelbase, Dodge and Ford tacked it onto the back. Which works better depends on what you plan to do with the extra space, on a work van or a conversion.
