Towing with a Pirus...no really.
Yes I know Toyota says no, but these folk appear to understand the limits of their vehicle.

Also, eTrailer has an assortment of 1 1/4 receivers for the Prius. Not hard to find a hitch. I think I remember Aliner had a really small trailer that they showed was towed with a Smart Car? I bet a Prius could do the same. I also found a pic of a Prius towing a tiny TT.
Then I found this guy and his website who tows a popup with his prius.

And yet U-haul won't rent a trailer to someone with an Explorer!
