Yes I know Toyota says no, but these folk appear to understand the limits of their vehicle.

Not surprised it can tow well. Car's generally do!
Crazy thing is that if Toyota raised the suspension height and put tall tires on it (both of which make it less stable) and called it an SUV, then everyone would be fine giving it a reasonable tow rating.
