Towing with an Expedition EL

I have a Eagle 314 BDS travel trailer that I tow with a 2004 Excursion with a V-10. The trailer max weight is 9800lbs. I am looking at trading to a new Expedition EL. Does anyone have any experience with towing a large trailer with this vehicle. I can read tow capacities and such. I am just looking to see if anyone has actual towing experience with this vehicle. Any help with actual experience would be greatly appreciated.

    Before my current rig. I towed a 31BHDS 11K GVW TT with an 01 V-10 and later a 7.3 Excursion.
    The Expedition EL is a 1/2 ton vehicle and is not rated tow a trailer that large.
    I would hope you will not find anyone towing 10K TT with an Exp. El

    You will miss the excursions power . Thats alot of trailer . I have a 2002 ex and I like being able to accelerate going up a hill. My trailer is about the size you have , I pulled it with my old f 250 with a 5.4 , it pulled it , but it was a night and day difference with power .
