I own a 2008 F250 V10 with 4.10 axle and towed my loaded stock trailer and also my previous 19 ft TT. 9 TO 10 mpg towing in mountains. 12 to 13 mpg not towing.
Like previous posts,you won't be happy with the 5.4l, especially towing up the Cajon pass. The 5.4l probably would he great on flat lands and small hills.
