6.4 2500 4X4 with 3.73 gears towing 8500# TT. Overall, it tows like a dream. I came from a Duramax diesel and am hard pressed to notice a huge difference. Of course, the diesel had more low end power but the 6.4 hauls my TT around beautifully, even with the truck loaded down with people and gear.
One of the last times I was out I rolled through the scales at around 17,000# (truck + tt) and up over the cascade mountain range here in Oregon (about 4500' elevation) and it was no problem. I could pull it at just whatever speed I wanted to. 2nd gear revs about 3500rpm @ 60mph which is right at the heart of the power. The 4.10 gears would probably be closer to 4,000rpm but will have a bit better low end. Again the diesel would have done it at 2,000rpm but the Hemi sounds great :)
A trailer of the size you are talking about is a perfect fit and leaves you with plenty of room for people and gear.
