If you go with Torklift Superhitch, you for sure can do it. They are tried and true.
Fwiw, I was able to go to 18 on my 9 1/2, and based on how much you lose, it’s worth it to cut it on down from 24 to 18. Don’t forget the ball mount length. I have a generic 2.5 bought at a local hitch shop.
For another manufacturer, look at Reese, but you’ll be surprised how low the limit is when you go to to 24, but 2.5 to go with stock or Reese hitch. https://www.reese-hitches.com/products/Reese_Titan_Hitch_ExtensionTrailer_Hitches_,45292
