I little short of information on your truck but if you bought it off a lot or buying it off a lot it will surely have 3.73 gears. Using the 2015 Ford towing guide the truck is rated to pull 12300 to 15900 depending on how the truck is setup, regular cab 4.30 being the highest.

Our truck with 4.30 gears 2x4 Super Cab 6.2 is rated to pull 15600 and that's what I pull with it, and yes that excludes the Rocky Mountains. As far as merging onto interstates it doesn't have a problem with the load getting up to speed, will it run high rpm "yes" but it's not a diesel it's a gas motor and that's what they do when full power is needed. When cruising down the road the rpm is 2K at 65 mph and you can't hear it running.
