Agreed! I'm a bit baffled by all the talk about the gas truck being slower. It might rev more, and make a bit more noise (or music, depending on your bias). But foot down, on occasions when required, it should compare well.
Unfortunately no, it doesn't compare at all. My 6.2 did the job I asked it, when I asked it but only after much gear changing and huffing and puffing. The 6.7 I now have does it so much easier and sooner. The 6.2 is a great motor (and sounds awesome) but apples to apples comparisons don't do it justice.
