Not much payload left for ya after you consider the tongue weight of the trailer, but it's all what you want to do with that figure..
Travel with the restrictions you have already placed on yourself and you'll probably be okay.. I like to use my trailers capabilities to it's full potential, so I don't have to limit myself just to go 100-150 miles away from home... ;)
But, that's just me.. I like going 200-300-whatever miles over any terrain and fill the dang trailer to it's gills.
You'll get down the road no matter how you pack that trailer.. It's just gonna be how well you like towing it? That, we can't really say.. Sure, there are those that say once you reach your payload, that's it..
There are other's that say just hitch it up and go and enjoy..
I'm kinda in the middle where I like to know where my weights are and if I exceed the payload by a few hundred pounds, I'm not gonna go out and buy a $50k 350 series truck! ;)
Now, if that's what you want to do, great... Just saying, you can do whatever is most comfortable for you.. That might not be the same comfort level as me, or anyone else..
In the end, all you have to do is be happy with your choices and go from there..
I just know that I would not be happy not loading up my new trailer with all the stuff I want because it'll be too heavy for my truck... ;)
Good luck!
