towing with suv???
Does anyone know of a lite weight travel trailer good for a couple that could be towed with an SUV?

Once you go over 80% of your rated towing capacity, you have to be sure to have all your ducks in a row, it WILL handle differently.
IMHO, although SUVs are quite capable, I think you're going too heavy and won't enjoy the experience. Would I tow it? Maybe. Depends how far and the terrain. It would take special considerations to do it safely and under control.
As always, it's your call, but it will be hard to make those numbers add up in your favor. I'm sure someone will be along with the math soon ;)
