Really - that's the only two SUV's that can tow anything bigger than a popup? That either had to be tongue in cheek or a low information responder. I'm going with tongue in cheek.
Yep it depends on what New SUV you get as to what TT you can tow. Anything less than an Expedition, or Suburban, and you need to get a popup, 18' max ultra lite. You option expand quickly with the Burb, or Expe.
Notice I said anything LESS than. Not the only 2. And I stand by my post. Any thing LESS than a Burb, or Expe, and you need a very small camper.
You can always hookup a Equinox, "new" Explorer or a Traverse to a 6000lb, 25', TT and give it a try. Call me, so I can watch.
Also notice, NONE of those are rated to tow more than 5000lbs. So you will be limited. - JiminDenverExplorer IIWe use our Expeditions to tow our 25 foot bunk house that weighs 4200 lbs dry and has a CCC of 7000 pounds. The model up with a walk around bed and a slide weighs 4800 pounds dry and we would be fine with it too.
- avoidcrowdsExplorerI have a Grand Cherokee, and tow a TrailManor 2417. Tows at 17', opens to 24'. The link is to the 2720 page, which is a larger unit.
My 2417 is 3300 lbs loaded for a week, with a tongue wt. of about 400 lbs. Have not weighed tongue, but did weigh trailer.
If you go to the 2922 model, you have a king bed, instead of a queen in the 2720. All come in three different floorplans. While bed is not walk-around, we have a 2-step stool that makes getting into and out of bed easy.
They all tow like a large pop-up, since they don't have the barn wall of a front-end. Crosswinds also have no impact on the trailer. I love ours. - DieselXExplorerOur neighbor towed his camper from Alaska to Arizona with a Porsche Cayenne.
- APTExplorerIt sounds like you do not have the SUV or new TT yet. So you are in a good position to plan a comfortable pairing.
Now you really have to focus on what kind SUV you want. Or narrow down the type/size of TT you want and correctly match an SUV. As mentioned, there are SUVs that should not tow anything more than a popup and others that can tow 10k pounds. You need to provide more details to help you. What are your goals with this new RV combo? - bid_timeNomad III

The correct answer would be that it depends on the specifications of your SUV. It's like trying to answer "how many people can live in a house?"
- tatestExplorer IIThere are SUVs that can tow more than 8000 pounds, and others than can't tow more than 600, if they are rated to tow anything at all.
One combination that I've seen work OK (friends in RV club) is a V-6 Toyota Highlander pulling a 19-foot Gulfstream Amerilite. It is at about the maximum tow rating for the car, they are two very small old people, don't go very far or very fast. A family could overload this car without towing anything. - OpenRangePullenExplorer

we really aren't that picky...do like a walk-around bed...and we really have enjoyed the angled tub. We do take long trips so some storage (wardrobe) is a must.
I doubt they have one with a tub more than 1.5ft deep, nor angled, you might find a large angled shower though.
Try Jayco White Hawk 24RKS, It has a big shower...
Good Luck. - BumpyroadExplorerr pods are light. I tow an Ascend with a highlander with tow package rated up to 5,000 lbs..
