I have a camp site right on a trail system and see guys hauling in pickups all the time, its common practice.
Should be and appears to be working ok ,
they transport long track snow machines in the 700# / 10'-11' range that all hang over the tailgate of SB as well as LB trucks while bouncing over frost heaves.
During warm weather and the dirt trail system is open, i get to see the same guys riding atv's , hauling them in the same trucks.
So far, all the mfg.'s of trucks seem to be ok.
