Toyota Diesel ---- Will They Ever?
Very impressed w/wifes Toyota Sequoia. Reckon Toyota will ever come out with a diesel tow vehicle? I know they were planning to about 9 years ago but got scared off by our economy.

- Yep, probably best to just keep babying my 06 Duramax. It doesn't have to use that DEF stuff, either.
- Toyota manufactures and sells diesels in many markets throughout the world. In the United States, emissions standards is usually the biggest obstacle to bring a diesel to market.
- Probably figured there was not enough market shares to make it profitable. With the rapid advances in gas motors technology and the high cost of dealing with exhaust emissions might be a factor as well.
