My father-in-law is interested in truck campers and has a Toyota Tundra. Are there any Toyota Tundra truck owners out there who are hauling a truck camper? I see that Lance advertises their 825 and 865 campers for the Tundra. Anyone?Thanks USMCShepherd

Check out Northstar truck campers. They make many half ton (tundra) capable models

Tundras have a very low payload capacity for the size truck they are. You have to be very careful of the weight.

Four Wheel Camper or All Terrain Campers. Pop tops, aluminum framed with the basics. We had one on a Tacoma. Nice, sturdy, spartan units.

We just purchased a new 1172 and they really like the Lance product....they've been looking at Lance's 825 and 865 models. I was shocked to see the payload capacities of the Tundra's....it would but him in a 400 lbs deficit from the beginning dry so wondering who out there has a Tundra/Lance combo?

Tundras have no less carrying capacity than any other 1/2 ton save the HDs.

Lots of 1/2 tons carrying TCs.

He has got some homework to do tho.
