Couldn't agree more.

I drive a lot of rocky dirt roads and it is wonderful to get that alarm and be able to pull over and stop before the tire is destroyed. For my 2007 rig that doesn't have OEM TPMS I bought an aftermarket setup that constantly displays the pressure AND temperature of each tire. Wish I'd had something like this years ago - would have saved me a lot of money for replacement tires.

If you have higher-end scanner, some cars also have temp sensors build into TPMS.
When they will not show on cluster, the scanner might show them.
Worth checking as most of tire blow due high temperature.

I run the rears at 80 psi and have also seen them climb into the 90 psi range. I added an aftermarket TPM to my Chevy after having a blowout and then getting all new (heavier) tires. This kind of freaked me out as i did not expect to see the psi so high. I believe I posted the same question here about 1 year ago and upper 90’s was the consensus-so I felt better.

A friend of mine says he has seen his TT tire as high as 100 psi.

Rear tires are 80 psi cold, I've seen it as high as 95 psi summer ambient 95 F highway towing a 5th wheel trailer.

2005 2500 Chevrolet.

Never checked um, but it's a function of barometric pressure (altitude) and tire temp.
About 1/2 psi per 1000' altitude gain or loss and 1+ psi per 10 degrees up or down.
Set it and forget it, unless you have wild temperature or altitude changes.
Easy to get a 10+ psi swing in pressure.
