On this TPMS, you program what the normal cold psi is, and it alarms at 20% above or below. In this case 75 + 20% =90, so at 89 it started beeping.
The question isn't about the TPMS, it did it's job in reporting the high pressure condition.
I'm asking more about the effects of running a tire way over pressure, whether that's as bad as running one way under pressure, and if anyone has had a blowout due to an overfilled tire.
