Exit I-65 and down US 31 headed for the FL panhandle and the trailer TPMS alarm goes off...for high pressure in the RR trailer tire at 89 psi. RF was reading 87 and both left side tires were at 85. I stopped and bled off a few psi from both right side tires and also checked the rears on the truck.....80 psi cold was now a whopping 97 psi!! I brought them down to 90. I don't have TPMS on the truck tires.
Trailer tire temps were running in the 125*F range, not especially hot.
Anyone else ever experience this? Traveling from a cool area to a warm area with climbing tire pressures? I bought the TPMS to warn me of low pressures that could lead to a blowout, but never expected a high pressure alarm.

To large pressure change from cold to hot running could indicate the tire is getting too hot as a result of too low initial ( cold ) starting pressure. In your case I would start out with 80psi cold and see what you get then. The hope would the higher cold psi would result in less flex, therefore less buildup of pressure.
