Anu,
Nice T.R. It was nice to see some BIG pix on the AB site instead of the bandwidth conserving, small pix we see on here. In my former life in working right downtown L.A., we made many, many trips to the Anza Borrego starting about 1965 when you could grind over the entire Coyote Cyn. trail; the so-called 'Anza Trail' with a small 4WD. Anza is a special place. We have been the width and breadth of it. Even though we now live 500 miles to the north of it, It's still on our radar for a winter trip. Your Blair Valley pictoral shows almost NO degradation from almost 50 yrs. ago. That's nice to see.
With fond memories, jefe
I like the BIG photos as well!
That is good to know it hasn't changed much out there! Anza is special because of the street legal vehicle ordinance. Most people bypass anza and head straight for the ohv areas. I bet those areas are quite different from 50 years ago.
