We were down there for Thanksgiving at my brother's place in Homeland. Had gone down the keys just before that. Really pretty and warm with temps at home in Oklahoma then super cool. While we enjoyed the views not having reservations months or a year in advance camping was not in the cards. Stopped many other places farther north that were really nice and warm and not too crowded. We don't enjoy the crammed campground, retiree type places. Next year well go for January till March at my brother's as a base camp and explore from there, work a little for spending money then home. Spend July till September in Fruita, Colorado with one or the other of our two kids and go exploring camping around there. Home March to July working and September to January working. Have to have that income to travel as SS doesn't cut it.
