Thanks for the great trip report. We've just traded in our canoe for two kayaks and are working on how to mount them on top of our Lance 1055. I like the way you have them cockpit down but not sure how I'd do that on ours as the rack crossbars are close to the roof and upside down the bow would dig into the roof. Can you share any photos or info on how you mount your kayaks on top?
