Traffic on I 55 south
Hello- We are leaving tomorrow morning to Hammond LA / New Orleans. Has any one taken the I-55 from Chicago to New Orleans lately and if so how is the traffic? Lots of construction?:h

We've been that way a couple of times and traffic isn't too bad. Keep your eyes open around memphis...lots of turns and twists. I'd definitely go this way again.
