Trailer door security for unattended rig weeks at a time

We have a trailer down in Baja that is vacant for weeks at a time and I am looking into more security for the doors. Anyone have pictures of theirs? How about windows?
I know nothing will stop a thief bit if it's good enough, may slow him down and hopefully move on. I've seen the hasp locks, bars with puck locks, and other add ons that look decent but I personally would make sure to run the bolts through and put a strong backer plate on the inside.

  • With the invention of cordless grinders and availability of liquid nitrogen it's impossible to stop even a casual theif.

My Dad had a couple of sea containers and house on his property, he came to live with us so the property was vacant for weeks at a time. During the first year it was broken into 8 times. We tried every type of lock with no luck. The thieves cut most of them off using bolt cutters, grinders or smashed them off wiith a sledge hammer. One time the sheriff said it looked like they used liquid nitrogen to freeze the lock and them smash it apart.

Bars on the windows were cut off using a grinder.

Once anything of value was gone people started to break in to live in the house.

The only thing that worked was to sell the property.
