Trailer entrance assist

Need some suggestions on a travel trailer entrance assist. My wife has arthritis in her right knee and is not supposed to climb stairs as it causes swelling and severe pain in her knee. The arthritis causes a Baker's Cyst behind the knee which is very painful. So, stairs are out. I have looked at power lifts but the ones that I have looked at attach to the outside of the trailer. That won't work as this trailer is in a storage lot where the lift will get stolen. Anyone know of any power portable lifts that might work ? or possibly light weight portable ramps that would work ??
Out trailer has (4) steps to enter the trailer

Thanks in advance for your time and suggestions !
  • A short aluminum atv/mower ramp?
The kind that are 2 separate planks and just use one or put them right next to each other.
That would make a fairly flat climb into the side of a TT.
Might have to mount something for them to rest or hook onto outside the door.
  • There are a number of options available.

    Here is one.

If you google RV power lift steps you will see a number of others.
  • There was a thread about 2 years ago on this topic that had some good ideas.
Now if this old memory of mine can remember the right keywords, I'll find it and post it here for you!
